Widad Semichi, Ph.D.

Social Media Chair

Widad Semichi is a Professor of Information and Communication Sciences at the University of Constantine 3, Algeria, with over 14 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in Information and Communication Sciences, all from the University of Constantine.

Since 2020, she has served as the Director of the Digital Communication and New Technologies Laboratory, where she oversees multidisciplinary research teams and drives innovation in the field. Alongside her academic role, Widad is an EU-certified entrepreneurship trainer through the YABDA program, dedicated to fostering research excellence, mentoring students, and promoting collaboration across academic and professional communities.
