AAASTE President Visits University of Tizi Ouzou: Fostering Collaboration and Student Engagement

December 15, 2025

International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems and Renewable Energy (AIESRE 2025), it is my pleasure to formally invite you to attend and participate in our upcoming event, which will be held from December 15 to 17, 2025, at Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria.
In December 17, Dr. Boukerrou, President of AAASTE, co-moderate a session at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems and Renewable Energy (December 15-17, 2025). During the session, he engaged with speakers from academia and the public and private sectors. He also shared insights on the importance of knowledge management, collaboration, and innovation in higher education and professional development of faculty, researchers, and students. His contributions highlighted practical strategies for applying research and academic expertise to address real-world challenges, encouraging students to think critically about the role of universities in societal and economic development.

Following the conference, Dr. Boukerrou met with professors and students in a more interactive setting to explore potential collaboration projects between AAASTE and the university. Discussions focused on initiatives designed to enhance student learning, faculty development, and institutional capacity. Students learned about opportunities for internships, mentorship, and participation in projects that connect classroom knowledge with practical experience. Faculty members discussed avenues for joint research, workshops, and programs that could strengthen the university’s academic impact and community engagement.

Key takeaways for students included the value of active participation in research and professional networks, the importance of developing communication and leadership skills, and the opportunities provided by international collaboration. Dr. Boukerrou emphasized that connecting with organizations like AAASTE can open doors for applied learning, cross-cultural exchange, and career growth.

The visit underscored AAASTE’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships between universities and professional networks in Algeria and abroad. By combining knowledge sharing, applied projects, and student engagement, AAASTE aims to create sustainable opportunities that empower the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers.
