FAQ

Membership Frequently Asked questions

  1. The website mentions networking opportunities with professionals in the US, Algeria, and globally, as well as knowledge sharing with faculty and students at Algerian universities. Could you elaborate on how these networking opportunities are facilitated?

Networking opportunities are facilitated through our various Working Groups—Programs, Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship—which organize events, discussions, and collaborative projects. These opportunities are publicized via our official website, social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X), newsletters, and direct communications with members. We also have a dedicated Awards and Scholarships Working Group to promote academic and professional recognition.

  2. Are there other tangible benefits for members beyond networking and knowledge sharing?

At present, AAASTE is focused on building a solid and sustainable foundation for the association. While we do not yet produce member-exclusive publications, we are pleased to feature and promote members’ publications on our website and social media platforms. All AAASTE events are free of charge to members.

  3. How does AAASTE measure the impact and success of its programs and initiatives?

Program success is evaluated primarily through direct feedback from participants and members through evaluation forms and surveys. This feedback helps to make improvements to future events and initiatives.
