Dr. Boukerrou serves as the CEC’s Director of International Programs and Global Initiative and is an Affiliate Faculty in the African and African Diaspora Studies at the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. Prior to joining FIU, Dr. Boukerrou was at Florida Atlantic University where he served as a Manager/Coordinator Research Programs at the Center for Environmental Studies, Research Professor in the Department of Geosciences, and Adjunct Professor in the College of Business. Dr. Boukerrou is Fulbright Specialist and has been a recipient of Fulbright funding.
Belkacem El Metennani
Experienced indoor Farmer in “CEA” Controlled Environment Agriculture/Precision Agriculture space, Founder of DAFA ” Dar Al Filaha Algeria” & FDF USA “ Food Desert Farms USA” with a demonstrated history of working in the food service & processing industry, precision agriculture & vertical farming, operations management, purchasing, sustainable systems design and compatibility testing. strong entrepreneurship professional with a Master’s degree in system engineering.
