Social entrepreneurship and social franchising are powerful methods to address social, economic, and environmental challenges faced by billions of people all over the world, and particularly in emerging countries like Algeria. In this webinar, Dr. Aliouche discusses the promises of social entrepreneurship and social franchising, how they can be useful in Algeria, and he gives several examples of successful social enterprises and franchisees in various countries.

Dr. Aliouche is currently the Director of the Rosenberg International Franchise Center at the University of New Hampshire where he holds the Rosenberg Chair in Franchising. He is also an Associate Professor teaching courses in financial management, strategic management, asset management, managerial accounting, and international franchising. His current research focuses on franchise and entrepreneurial finance, international franchising, and social entrepreneurship and franchising. Dr. Aliouche’s research has been published in leading peer-reviewed academic journals as well as in influential business publications such as Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Franchising World.
